Readers are Leaders
Readers are Leaders is an after-school enrichment-based reading program. In partnership with the USC Dornsife College of Letters Arts and Sciences Joint Educational Project (JEP), the program is provided at some of the USC Family of schools elementary campuses. Readers are Leaders is a 6-week program tutoring twenty 3rd – 5th grade student in reading through the art of oral dramatic reading in an entertaining fashion, crafting the lesson plans based on current theatrical films and notable personalities. Each class culminates in a staged reading display before an audience and before a panel of judges.
